This week Bryan sits down with the Co-Founder and CEO of Renew Birmingham, Gerrel Jones, to hear his incredible story of redemption. Gerrel was convicted of murder and given a life sentence. God saved him while he was in prison and he began to mentor other inmates, giving him a sense of purpose in what appeared to be a never ending prison sentence. In an unbelievable twist of fate it would be the family member of a white supremacist who helped Gerrel, a black man, get out. This story will have you on the edge of your seat.
Gerrel goes on to talk about a ministry he started with the help of a Birmingham businessman that empowers residents to get invested in their own revitalization.

This week Bryan sits down for a very important conversation with Dr. Stewart Tankersley regarding the experimental gene therapy shots that were labeled vaccines and what our state government is or isn't doing about it. Dr. Tankersley is the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of Concerned Doctors, a third generation family doctor, former Colonel in the Army National Guard, and former member of the Alabama Ethics Commission. The Florida Surgeon General is doing everything in his power to halt the distribution and use of these shots in his state, meanwhile Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) is doing everything they can to promote the shots and give them to children.

State Auditor Andrew Sorrell, our first ever guest on 1819 News: The Podcast, joins us this week on our 100th episode.
Listen as Alabama State Auditor, Andrew Sorrell, tells his personal story as well as what it is that he does in the Auditor's Office.
Andrew is arguably the most conservative person in state government as evidenced by his time in the state house. He stood with courage, oftentimes by himself, against ever expanding state budgets year after year. Andrew played a major role in the passing of Constitutional Carry legislation and was labeled as a radical when in fact he was just doing the things on the Republican Party platform as a Republican.
This week's overtime segment discussion revolves around the fact that courage is being rewarded more than ever in politics right now but still so few are willing to lean into the buzzsaw.
